Lot Size Limits and Position Sizing Restrictions

In Direct and Prime accounts, you are free to trade as many lots as you like—there are no explicit maximum lot caps at the account level.

In 2 Step Pro (Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Accounts only), the following maximum exposure limits on open trades apply:

  • 5,000 USD account: No lot limit.

  • 10,000 USD account: No lot limit.

  • 25,000 USD account: Maximum 10 lots.

  • 50,000 USD account: Maximum 20 lots.

  • 100,000 USD account: Maximum 40 lots.

  • 200,000 USD account: Maximum 80 lots.

If you breach these limits:

  • All open trades will be automatically closed by the system and the account will be disabled.

  • Profits from trades that exceeded the specified limits will be deducted from the account.

  • If these deductions cause a breach of the Daily Loss Limit or Max. Loss Limit, the trader is responsible for that outcome.

Consequences by breach count:

  • First breach: Triggers a warning plus profit deduction as above; you may contact support to have the account re‑enabled.

  • Second breach: Triggers profit deduction again, a reduction of the profit split to 30% (after deduction), and account termination.

In all cases, general risk‑management rules should be followed, and you are expected to trade as if the account were your own capital. Behaviour considered as gambling is discouraged, and more detail is provided in Hola Prime’s gambling‑behaviour and risk‑control guidance here.
