Do I need to pay any fee for a Live Account? What is the cost of a Live Account?
To trade live, you must subscribe to Professional Market Data from CME Group exchanges. These fees are billed monthly, as exchanges charge us directly. Hola Prime does not profit from these fees—they are passed through at cost.
Accessing Futures Instruments on the Trading Platform
- In the Challenge & Hola Prime Account, you can trade all permitted products without subscribing to live CME data. However, in the Live Funded Account, to trade all futures instruments on the trading platform, you would need to subscribe to CME, CBOT, NYMEX, and COMEX, totaling $520/month.
How to Minimize Data Subscription Costs
- Start with One Exchange
Many traders begin with a single exchange subscription (e.g., CME) at $130/month, focusing on select products while building their account. Additional exchanges can be added later. - Begin Your Account on the 1st of the Month
Exchanges do not pro-rate fees—partial-month subscriptions are charged the full monthly rate. To get the most value, many traders choose to activate their Live Funded Account on the first of the month.
Why Are these Data Fees Higher?
When trading live capital, you are classified as a Professional Trader by the exchanges. As a result, you are subject to Professional Data Fees, which are significantly higher than those for Non-Professional accounts (e.g., through a personal brokerage). This classification is a regulatory requirement and applies to all live funded trading accounts.
