Mastering the execution of trades is critical for any trader using the DXtrade platform. This lesson provides a comprehensive walkthrough of the various ways to enter and exit the market, ensuring you can act quickly whether you are analyzing a chart or managing a watchlist. From standard order windows to high-speed one-click execution, you will learn the tools necessary to manage your positions effectively.

Opening Trades: Three Primary Methods

DXtrade offers multiple entry points to suit different trading workflows:

Method 1: Default Watchlist (Left Side): Locate your desired instrument in the main list and click the Buy or Sell button next to it.
Method 2: Directly from Charts: While viewing a chart, use the Buy or Sell buttons located at the top of the chart window to open the order dialogue for that specific asset.
Method 3: Quick Watchlist (Right Side): Use the secondary watchlist on the right for immediate access to order windows after adjusting your lot size.

Configuring Order Parameters

When you initiate a trade, an order window appears where you must define your risk and position size:

Lot Size: Enter your desired volume or use the provided icons to adjust it.
Order Type: Select the specific type of execution you require.
Protection Orders: Click this section to add a Stop Loss and Take Profit to your trade before it is sent to the market.
Margin Impact: Review the calculated margin required for the position before clicking Send Order.

Closing Individual Trades

To exit a position, navigate to the Positions tab at the bottom of the platform:

The Cross Button: Click the "X" next to any active trade. A window will appear showing details like Position ID and current P&L; click Close Position to finalize.
Right-Click Menu: Alternatively, right-click on a trade in the positions list and select Close Position.
Chart Exit: You can also close a trade directly from its chart by clicking the cross icon displayed on the price line.

Bulk Actions: Closing All Positions

In fast-moving markets, you may need to exit all trades simultaneously. DXtrade features a bulk-close option:

Click the cross icon on the far left side of the Positions tab.
A confirmation pop-up will appear; select Close All to terminate every open position in a single action.

Advanced Speed: One-Click Trading

For the most efficient execution, you can enable One-Click Trading via the toggle at the top of the platform:

Once activated, clicking Buy or Sell will place an order instantly without an intermediate confirmation window.
Closing trades also becomes instant; clicking the "X" next to a position will close it immediately without a pop-up, making your trading process significantly faster.
