Daily Trading Hours Overview(When Can I Trade?):

Daily Trading session– Resumes each day at 5:00 PM CT Monday to Friday and after the weekend on Sunday at 5:00 PM CT, unless a  CME holiday is observed.

Daily Position Closing- All positions must be closed by 3:30:00 PM Central Time (CT), Monday through Friday. The Challenge & Hola Prime Accounts are designed for day trading, which means positions cannot be carried over from one session to the next or held through the weekend in these accounts.

What will happen if I don’t close the trade before 3:30 PM C.T?

Monday to Thursday- It remains the trader’s responsibility to close the positions by 3:30 PM CT Monday to Thursday. Otherwise, our Risk Management Team will begin closing positions at 3:30 PM CT at market prices, and you can start trading again in the next session.

Friday- Ensure all trades are closed before 3:30 PM CT on Friday, or they will be automatically closed by the system, and the account will be terminated. Once closed, these accounts cannot be reopened or reset.

Note- Some futures contracts(Mostly agricultural)  close prior to 3:30 PM CT. For such instruments, positions must be closed before their respective market close. Example Trading Hours:

• CBOT Commodities ( Corn, Wheat & Soybeans, etc.):
• Sunday–Monday: 7:00 PM – 7:45 AM CT
• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:20 PM CT
• CME Agricultural Products (Live Cattle, Lean Hogs):
• Monday–Friday: 8:30 AM – 1:05 PM CT

How to check if the Future Product is Open/Closed/Paused?

Here is the Product Availability, a Color Coding Guide. The Hola Prime Project X trading platform uses color-coded indicators—based on  CME colour codes standards—in the product drop-down menu to show the real-time market status of each product. By hovering over a product name, a tooltip will display its current market state, making it easy to know if it’s available for trading. This system helps eliminate confusion and ensures you’re always aware of a product’s trading status.
Here’s what the colors indicate:

• Light Blue – Pre-Open
• Orange – Paused
• Green – Open
• Red – Closed
