Hola Prime Direct Account
Direct Account
The Hola Prime Direct model has no evaluation phase, which means you can become a Hola Prime trader immediately after signing up. After purchasing the account, traders will straightaway receive their login credentials via email, which can also be viewed through the ‘Account Overview’ tab on the dashboard by clicking the ‘Key’ icon.
Next Steps After Starting the Journey
Once you begin trading, the transition to securing your payouts involves a standard verification process:
-
KYC & Agreements: You must upload your documents for KYC and sign your contract under the “Agreements” tab immediately after purchasing the account in order to get the account enabled for trading.
-
Account Standing: If any rules are breached, the account will be permanently suspended; however, traders may purchase a new account at any time.
The Direct Model:
These accounts are designed to test your ability to achieve goals while showing disciplined risk management from day one. This model is best suited for professional traders who do not want to wait for evaluation phases. To succeed, it is important to have a flexible trading system and a strong risk management strategy.
The Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Account
Get access to the account as soon as you purchase it, complete the KYC process and Agreement signing immediately to get the Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Account enabled for trading, start trading from day 1, and begin earning through biweekly payouts.Trading Rules - Account Violations (Hard Breach)
A hard breach is a critical violation of core risk management rules that leads to the immediate and permanent termination of the trading account.
Daily Loss Limit
The Daily Loss Limit is the maximum amount you can lose in a single day. For the Direct Account, this is set at 3% of the previous day’s closing balance. Violating this rule is a hard breach and will lead to the permanent closure of your account.
The Formula: Daily Loss Limit = Previous Day's Closing Balance - (Previous Day's Closing Balance × 3%)
Calculation: The loss for the day is the sum of your current floating PnL plus the total PnL of closed trades for that day.
The Formula
Daily Loss Limit = (Previous Day’s Closing Balance × 3%)
Example 1: Setting the Daily Limit
Starting Balance = $110,000
-
Scenario: At the end of Day 2, your closing balance is $110,000.
-
Calculation: 3% of $110,000 is $3,300.
-
The Limit: On Day 3, your equity can never drop below $106,700 ($110,000 – $3,300).
-
Outcome: If your account equity or balance falls below $106,700 at any moment, the account is terminated.
Example 2: Impact of Intraday Profit
Starting Balance = $110,000
-
Scenario: You start Day 3 with a $3,300 limit, but you make an intraday profit of $7,000.
-
New Allowance: Your allowable loss for that day increases to $10,300 ($3,300 base limit + $7,000 profit).
-
The Rule: This allows you more breathing room during the day, provided your equity stays above the breach level.
Example 3: Realized vs. Floating Loss
Starting Balance = $110,000
-
Scenario: You realize a loss of $2,000 during the day and then open a new trade.
-
Calculation: You have $1,300 of your daily limit remaining ($3,300 total – $2,000 already lost).
-
The Breach: If your new running trade reaches a floating loss of $1,300, your account will breach the daily limit.
-
Important: The rule applies to both realized losses and floating (open) losses combined within a single trading day.
Daily Reset Timer: The Daily Loss Limit resets every day at 17:00 EST server time. You can always monitor the reset timer on your Hola Prime dashboard to see exactly when your daily loss limit resets.
Max. Loss Limit (Trailing):
The Max. Loss Limit (Trailing) is the amount your account's equity or balance can't go below. For Direct Accounts, this limit is set at 7% of your initial account balance. This 7% trails the High Water Mark until the trader reaches 7% profits in the account. Once they have achieved 7% profit in the account, the max trailing lock in at the starting balance and no longer trails the account.
The Formula
Max. Loss Limit (Trailing) = High Water Mark – (Initial Balance × 7%)
Example 1: Initial Setup
Starting Balance = $100,000
-
Calculation: 7% of $100,000 is $7,000.
-
The Limit: Your account equity or balance can never drop below $93,000 ($100,000 – $7,000).
Example 2: The Moving High Water Mark
Starting Balance = $100,000
-
Scenario: Your previous day’s end-of-day balance reaches $102,000 (New High Water Mark).
-
New Limit: Your max trailing drawdown moves up to $95,000 ($102,000 – $7,000).
Important: If you then close a trade with a $1,000 loss and your balance drops to $101,000, your limit remains at $95,000 because the drawdown trails the peak (High Water Mark), not the current balance.
Example 3: Locking at Initial Balance
Starting Balance = $100,000
-
Scenario: Your previous day’s end-of-day balance reaches $107,000 (7% growth).
-
Locked Limit: Your max trailing drawdown is now locked at your starting balance of $100,000.
-
Outcome: Whether it is day 1 or day 50, if your equity or balance falls below $100,000, the account is terminated.
- A stop loss must be placed within 3 minutes of opening a position or before closing the position, whichever occurs first.
- If no stop loss is placed within this timeframe, the position is considered to have infinite risk by default.
- Failure to comply with this requirement constitutes a hard breach and may result in account termination.
- Layering / Splitting Positions
- 10-Minute Re-entry Rule
The combined risk of all these positions cannot exceed the 2% limit. View Example ▾
Risk per Trade Idea Assessment
Their cumulative risk is tracked against the 2% limit. View Example ▾
Risk per Trade Idea Assessment
- Trade 2 was opened 31 minutes after Trade 1 had been closed. As the time gap exceeded 10 minutes, Trade 2 is classified as a new trade idea.
- Trade 3 was opened 5 minutes after Trade 2 had been closed. As it was executed on the same trading instrument, in the same direction, and within 10 minutes of the previous position being closed, it is considered a continuation of the same trade idea.
- Trade 4 was opened 6 minutes after Trade 3 had been closed. Since it was executed on the same trading instrument, in the same direction, and within 10 minutes, it is also considered a continuation of the same trade idea.
The combined risk of all related positions must not exceed the 2% limit. View Example ▾

News Trading
News trading is not allowed in Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Accounts issued under the Direct Model.
-
Execution Window: Traders are not allowed to execute (open or close) any trade on instruments affected by high-impact news during the window starting 5 minutes before and ending 5 minutes after the news release.
-
Included Actions: This restriction includes market execution and all pending orders, such as Stop Loss (SL) and Take Profit (TP) orders.
-
Holding Positions: You may hold existing trades on affected instruments if they were opened more than 5 minutes before the news release.
-
Violations: If an SL or TP is triggered within the restricted 10-minute window, it is considered a violation of the Hola Prime Agreement and will lead to account closure.
-
Non-Targeted Instruments: Instruments affected only by low or medium-impact news can be traded normally.
Weekend Holding
Holding trades over the weekend is strictly prohibited for Direct Model accounts.
-
Hard Breach: Keeping trades open over the weekend is considered a hard breach for the Direct model.
-
Deadline: All trades must be closed before 15:45 EST on Friday.
-
Automatic Action: Any trades remaining open past this deadline will be automatically closed by the system, and the account will be terminated.
Inactivity
Any trading account inactive for consecutive 30 calendar days will be permanently suspended. A trading day refers to a day when at least one trade is opened as it counts towards an active trading day. Closing the trade, modifying the stop loss or take profit, or placing a pending order does not count as a trading day.
Example: If your last trade was opened on January 1st, you must open a new position by January 30th. If no activity occurs by January 31st, the account is breached due to inactivity.Trading Rules - Additional Guidelines
Consistency Rule
To receive the payment trader should ensure the profits across trades are meeting the consistency score.
The Consistency score should be up to 20%. The consistency score is calculated as follows:
Consistency Score = (Biggest Winning Day / Current Total Account Profit) × 100%. In simple words, it means that the biggest winning day cannot exceed 20% of the total profits made in the account. If the score exceeds 20%, the trader must continue trading until this score is reduced to 20% or lower.
Example:, the highest profit earned in a day is $5,000, and the total profit earned so far is $20,000, then the Consistency score = (5000/20000) * 100% = 25%. In this case, the trader must keep trading and earn a total profit of at least $25,000 (Additional profit of $5,000), so that the consistency score is brought down to 20%.
Overnight holding
Overnight Holding is fully permitted across all Challenge and Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Accounts. This allows you to maintain your positions without interruption, providing the professional flexibility needed to capitalize on long-term strategies and market trends that unfold beyond standard session hours.
Minimum Trading Days
There are no minimum trading days in Direct Account. However, traders should keep in mind the inactivity period of 30 calendar days.
Rewards
-
Industry-Leading Profit Splits up to 90%
At Hola Prime, we empower traders with choice and flexibility in their payout cycles with no extra fees attached!
Payouts in the Hola Prime (Sim. Funded) Account issued under the Direct Model are bi-weekly, with the trader being entitled to 80% of simulated profits. However, the trader has the option to increase the reward up to 90% with an add-on.
To qualify for a payout, the trader must meet the following profitability requirements:
-
Bi-weekly Cycle: Traders can request a payout every 14 calendar days following the first executed trade on the account.
-
20% Consistency Requirement: To ensure professional risk management, your biggest winning day cannot exceed 20% of the total profits made in the account.
Consistency score ensures that profits are earned through consistent trading rather than a single windfall. The score is calculated as follows:
Consistency Score = (Biggest Winning Day / Current Total Account Profit) × 100%
-
Example: If your highest profit earned in a day is $5,000 and your total profit is $20,000, your score is 25% ($5,000 / $25,000).
-
Action Required: Since 25% exceeds the 20% limit, you are not yet eligible for a payout. You must continue trading until your total profit reaches at least $25,000, which brings the score down to 20%.
-
