This guide provides a beginner-friendly overview of the cTrader trading platform. You’ll learn about its layout, how to execute trades, customize charts, and manage your trading account effectively.

1. Platform Layout Overview

When you log in to cTrader, the screen is divided into four main areas:

Watch List (Left Panel): Shows all available instruments, grouped into categories such as Forex, Indices, Metals, Oil, and Cryptocurrencies.
Chart Window (Center): Displays live price action and allows for technical analysis.
Trade Watch (Bottom): Tracks active positions, pending orders, history, and account details.
Active Symbol Panel (Right): Provides quick trade execution and market insights.

👉 If any of these panels are hidden, enable them using the layout icon from the toolbar.

2. Managing Accounts

Your active account number appears in the top right corner.
Click the number to view all linked accounts and switch between them instantly.
