Max Risk Per Trade Idea
The maximum risk you can take on any single trade idea
2% MAX On a $100,000 account, the max risk per trade idea is $2,000
"Risk" refers to the maximum potential loss on a trade at any given time, based on the stop-loss placement.
The absence of a stop loss will be considered infinite risk by default. A stop loss must be placed within 3 minutes of opening a position or prior to closing the position, whichever occurs earlier.
The risk per trade idea must not exceed 1% of the initial account balance for DX Futures
Example
- Splitting one idea into multiple positions that overlap in time still counts as one trade idea.
- Total risk (based on stop-loss levels) should not exceed 2%.

Risk Rule Breach — Total risk: 2.1% ($2,100). Maximum allowed: 2% ($2,000)
- Re-entering the same asset within 10 minutes counts as the same trade idea.
