What’s the Difference Between Level 1 (Top of Book) and Level 2 (Depth of Market) Data?

Level 1 data—also called Top of Book—provides the best bid and best ask prices available. This is the standard data used for chart-based trading and available as default in all Challenges & Hola Prime Accounts.

Level 2 data, or Depth of Market (DOM), shows multiple levels of bid and ask prices (typically 5–10), allowing traders to view pending buy and sell orders at various price points. This data is essential for DOM, Matrix, or ladder-based trading. Traders can subscribe to Level 2 data monthly data.
