Are EAs, auto trading systems and algorithms allowed here?
Traders are permitted to use Expert Advisors (EAs), algorithms, and indicators; however, it is essential to customize their settings to ensure that their trading activity remains distinct from that of other traders. Our Risk and Compliance team may, at its discretion, request traders to share the source code of the EA being used (or intended to be used) for review and verification purposes.
If a trader uses a third-party trading robot (EA), it is important to note that other traders might also be using the same EA or strategy. In such cases, accounts employing identical or highly similar strategies will be grouped together and subject to a combined maximum capital allocation, even if the accounts belong to different traders or profiles.
If two or more traders are found using identical or near-identical EA configurations, the following actions may be taken at our discretion:
Denial of Hola Prime account approval
Rebalancing of existing Hola Prime accounts
Termination of one or more related accounts
In cases where an EA causes platform hyperactivity or other technical issues, we may contact the trader to review and adjust the EA’s logic or parameters, and may again request access to its source code for diagnostic purposes. Traders must also ensure that their EAs operate in accordance to our rules & guidelines, and do not engage in any restricted or prohibited strategies, as all EA activity is monitored and traceable.
Note: The use of any form of Expert Advisor (EA) is strictly prohibited on Hola Prime Accounts issued under the Direct Model.
